About

INGA MARLENE

Lover of Life. Philanthropist. Traveler. Activist. Foodie. Thrill Seeker. Storyteller.

Originally from Minneapolis, I must claim all the -isms of being from Minnesota. I am very Swedish, I cheer for the Vikings whether they are winning or losing, and occasionally you can hear that beautiful long “O” when I speak. Though I carry Minnesota in my heart as home, I have lived away from there more than I’ve been present. My past 25 years has allowed me the privilege of living all over the world– Germany, The Netherlands, Japan, and Hawaii. Currently, you can find me in a sleepy little German village enjoying every ounce of what Germany has to offer.

I am a mom of three incredible grown children. They are the light of my life and I count it a true privilege to be their mom.

In 2010, I started a social enterprise called 3seams. It has been a journey that I will never forget. I have had the opportunity to work with men and women in Haiti, Cambodia, and Nepal. Through job training, employment, and mentorship, I have seen hope restored and lives filled with joy. Through this endeavor, I have not only grown to love our world deeper, but have also grown to love the stories that come from it.

Life is full of seasons. I am entering a new one and I couldn’t be more excited about what is around the bend. For more information about Gasp., check out my blog.
